Hello everyone. I am back and blogging about the new HTC wildfire S. The wildfire S may look similar to its diminutive predecessor. It is a compact phone, measuring just 101x59x12mm, that’s smaller in every dimension than the original. HTC has also removed the optical tacking device from the bottom of the handset. The body is also redesigned. It has a ‘unibody’ with a single piece of metal on it. It is a little heavier but only by 13g. The screen size is unchanged at 3.2in but the resolution has doubled from 240×320 up to 320×480 (153,600 pixels compared with 76,800).This single move eliminates our key criticism of the original design, which made reading text problematic and left pictures and video lacking in detail. The new screen isn’t exactly cutting edge, but it doesn’t feel like a major compromise. Plus, it’s far brighter than the original. The speed of the processor is 528MHz to 600MHz.
The Ram is also up to 384MB to 512MB so there is more space to run multiple apps. It runs Android 2.2. The camera remains at 5-megapixels, with an LED flash alongside. This new wildfire S is pretty cool. I have the previous HTC wildfire. I think you guys will like it. Wait for it to release. That’s all for today. Until then see ya! 😀
