Hey everyone I am blogging after a month. Was busy in school. Happy New year to you all. Today am blogging about how to install ice cream sandwich on your Nexus S. Ice cream Sandwich is now available for Nexus S and people will be getting updates soon. I know that you all just can’t wait to get your hands on ice cream so just root your phone to Android 4.0.4.
To update your phone follow these steps:
*First download the Android 4.0.4 ICS OTA package.
*Rename the ZIP file to update it.
*Then connect your phone to your PC using USB cable.
*Copy the ZIP file into your phone’s internal storage.
*After you have saves the files,disconnect your phone from the PC and turn off your phone.
*Then Reboot your phone into boot loader mode by holding the Volume Up key button and power button.
*Once booted into boot loader mode,select Recovery from the menu to initiate recovery mode. Use the volume key to navigate between options and the Power button to select an option.
*When the warning triangle and arrow pops up,press and hold the Power button and then tap the Volume Up key.
*Then menu will appear. Select “Apply update from sd card“ and choose update zip. The update process will start immediately.
*Once the update is completed,reboot your phone and get ready for Android 4.0.4 ice cream sandwich on your Samsung Nexus S.
Note: Before updating make sure you make backup or you will lose all your saved data.
