Kinect is a motion sensing device for Microsoft’s xbox that allows you to play games controller-less.. Kinect has a setting for audio that measures the amount of ambient noise in your room and filters it out, but until we can field test it, it’s impossible to know how well this works .Some Kinect games are spot-on. Dance Central does a great job of recognizing your awesome dance moves. But then there are games like Kinect Adventures, which has delays between your movements and your avatars action.
According to Microsoft, you can play some Kinect games sitting down. It “varies” by experience. However, several developers giving us demos have said the exact opposite. The one everyone will be playing, Kinect Adventures comes packed in with the unit, and serves as a great welcome to the new technology. Kinect is a neat peripheral with some cool tech. It may not revolutionize the gaming industry like Microsoft claims yet, but it shows some great promise. I LOVE KINECT! IT’S AMAZING! I LOVE PLAYING GAMES ON IT! NOW GOTTA GO UNTIL THEN SEE YA!
